KYRENIA - ALSANCAK COASTAL GUIDE

Beaches, an indispensable part of a holiday in Cyprus, welcome visitors in the most beautiful way along the coasts of Kyrenia and Famagusta. Whether you prefer a luxurious beach with all amenities or a secluded, tranquil cove, you can find both on the Cypriot coast. Below, we provide information about the Alsancak beaches closest to our hotel and within walking distance. It should also be noted that the most beautiful beaches in the Kyrenia region are located in Alsancak.

Escape Beach Club (Yavuz Landing Beach): Located in Alsancak, 6 km west of Kyrenia, this beach offers 5-star amenities. You can enjoy the sun on sunbeds on the sand or on cushions on the grass. Located directly opposite the beach, the island offers water sports for adrenaline enthusiasts, primarily jet skiing and parasailing. To satisfy your hunger, you can take advantage of the beach's restaurant, which offers wonderful flavors. Between June and October, the resort's club and discotheque are also open until the first light of dawn...

Golden Bay and Denizkızı Beaches: Both resorts share a bay. Half of the beach belongs to Denizkızı Hotel and the other half to Golden Bay. The beach is sandy, and you can use amenities such as showers, sun loungers, umbrellas, changing cabins, and toilets for a small fee. Both beaches have their own restaurants. They are located in Alsancak, 6 km west of Girne. PADI-certified schools and diving clubs operate on both beaches.

Civil Defence Facilities: Located 100m west of Denizkızı beach, this is a small beach belonging to the Civil Defence Organization. The beach is sandy, and sun loungers and umbrellas are provided free of charge. Restaurant and bar services are also available on the beach during the summer months. It is a 15-minute walk from our hotel.

Oris Beach Club: Located in Alsancak, this beach boasts another sandy shoreline. Its long sandy beach attracts many local and international guests, and it also features a restaurant and bar built on a pier. It's a 25-30 minute walk from our facility, or less than 5 minutes by car. At night, karaoke and live music are featured, along with beach parties and DJ entertainment. It's located where the former Green Coast Holiday Village used to be. Entry is free unless you rent umbrellas or sunbeds.

Camelot Beach Club: This beach belongs to Girne American University and is where students from the university's tourism department complete their first internship program. The beach is located 9km west of Girne, in Alsancak. A car is required to reach it; the journey takes approximately 10 minutes.

Sunset Beach Club: Located in Lapta, this private beach offers its guests two pools: one filled with fresh water and one with seawater. The beach doesn't have a sandy shore, but you can enjoy diving into the sea from the pier in the water.

Mare Monte Beach: This beach, which belonged to the Mare Monte hotel (operated by Greeks before 1974 but now closed), is one of the most beautiful beaches in Kyrenia with its golden sand and shallow, warm sea. It's a beach rich in activities, and you can enjoy its facilities free of charge. The beach is located approximately 7 km west of Kyrenia. It was opened to the public by the municipality in 2010.
